Working with HTML Templates Part 2

Watch accompanying video:  Working with HTML Templates Part 2

Our first page is our index.html file with a Title of Save the Donkeys Homepage. Under description we will put, “A site dedicated to preserving our natural donkey heritage.” We will also put an h1 title of Save the Donkeys on the page and do the same on the subsequent pages that we create. This will make it easier to distinguish different pages when we verify the links at the end.

The second page will be saved as catchdonkey.html with a Title of Catching Donkeys. For description we will put “How to catch wild donkeys by putting salt on their tails.”

The third page will be raisedonkey.html with a Title of Raising Donkeys and a description of “Raising donkeys without attracting flies.”

The Contact and Privacy pages will be saved as contact.html and privacy.html respectively.

Now it’s time to click on the Browse button in the tool bar and make sure that all the links work.

After opening our NewProject folder you can see all the icons for our site. These are the icons that we will ftp into the public.html folder on our server.

*Note: All of the links to purchase products are “paid affiliate links” that will pay me a commission if you decide to buy. These are all products that I have purchased and personally use.

Share and Enjoy: These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.
